FOUNDER STORY

Bubblr was created by Marc Louis De Guzman and Darwin Bryan Co, students from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde who wanted to understand how small beverage businesses in the Philippines use social media to grow. What started as a research topic for their thesis turned into something bigger: a simple, practical resource for the very entrepreneurs they were studying.

 

Through interviews, case studies, and conversations with local beverage owners, they saw a common pattern many had great products and creative ideas, but felt lost or overwhelmed when it came to online marketing. Bubblr was their way of responding to that gap. Instead of building a “big startup,” Marc and Darwin focused on making clear guides, downloadable tools, and story-based content that small beverage businesses can actually use. Bubblr is still a student project at its core, but it’s built with real people, real struggles, and real stories in mind.

MEET THE TEAM

Marc Louis De Guzman

Co-Founder · Project Lead · Web Developer

Marc leads the overall direction of Bubblr, from planning the project to building the actual website. He handles the site structure, page layouts, and custom elements in WordPress/Elementor, making sure everything is easy to use for small beverage business owners. He also coordinates timelines, deliverables, and tools so the guides, downloads, and case studies all work together as one practical platform.

Darwin Bryan Co

Co-Founder · Research Lead · Writer & Editor

Darwin focuses on understanding real small beverage businesses and turning their stories into useful insights for Bubblr. He leads the interviews, data gathering, and case study writing, making sure the content reflects actual challenges and wins from Filipino entrepreneurs. His research guides the topics, examples, and recommendations across the site, helping Bubblr stay grounded in real experiences, not just theory.
